VIOLINO GREEN LASER MARKING SYSTEMS from LASERVALL

Three years after its launch, the Violino Series of DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State) laser sources has become a well known name, widely appreciated in the field of industrial laser marking and engraving. The innovative design concepts and success of the original Violino project have indeed become points of reference for all laser manufacturers. Violino Green represents a design evolution towards new technological objectives, based on knowledge and experience already obtained during the elaboration of the original Violino project. The 532 nm wavelength, with its characteristic green light, is thus generated utilizing the “heart” of the original Violino with its 1064 nm infrared wavelength beam, with the addition of a frequency doubling conversion kit. This design concept is consistent with well accepted manufacturing practices in the domain of frequency conversion technology. The result is the Laservall “Green laser”, an absolutely innovative 532nm laser solution with three years of Violino Series production experience behind it, bringing high product reliability, economical operation features and ease of use and maintenance. In sum, all the advantages brought to the table by the Violino project have been maintained with the additional benefit of the generation of green laser light. Why 532 nm wavelength light?

[Technical Characteristics]

• Using the same focusing length, the spot size of the laser beam is cut in half, bringing high power
  density, finer line width and better micro marking capacity.
• The 532nm wavelength, when compared to the infrared laser, causes much less mechanical heat stress
  on the target piece without sacrificing the amount of ablation, hence less mechanical distortion of very
  thin metal sheet.
• Green laser light is suitable for processing several types of plastics, changing surface color for legible
  marks without burning.
• Ablation of protective films with no alteration of the substrate material itself.
